About IONA JETS

Our Vision for Clearer Air Charter Access

IONA JETS is developing a Swiss digital referral platform with a clear objective: make the first stage of an air charter inquiry easier to understand and navigate. The direction favors structured requests, defined responsibilities and useful proposal information, while independent Broker Partners, operators and providers retain their respective professional and contractual roles.

Request a flight

A clearer starting point for charter requests

Air charter can involve several commercial and operational parties, each with a different responsibility. The Platform's direction is to give Clients a clearer place to describe a private aviation, group charter or air cargo requirement before any proposal exists. A structured request cannot establish availability, suitability or price, but it can help participating vetted Broker Partners understand the stated need and decide independently whether to assess it. The objective is a more intelligible starting point, not access to every broker, operator, aircraft, route or market.

  • Request structure: The design objective is to collect route, timing, passenger or cargo and service requirements in a consistent form, while leaving the Client responsible for providing complete, accurate and current information.
  • Relevant charter category: Separating private aviation, group charter and air cargo requests is intended to support clearer assessment without implying that any category, route, aircraft or specialist capability will be available.
  • Useful supporting context: Clients should identify priorities, constraints and documents that matter to the inquiry, because detail can help a participating Broker Partner evaluate feasibility without guaranteeing that it will respond.

Transparency as a design direction

Transparency is a design principle for how request and proposal information should be presented, not a promise of full visibility or continuous tracking. The Platform aims to make available information easier to review, including the identity of a responding Broker Partner, the scope described and material terms supplied with a proposal. Information can remain incomplete, delayed or subject to change, and not every stage is controlled by IONA JETS. Clients must confirm decisive matters in the applicable contractual documentation with the selected Broker Partner and responsible providers.

  • Request status: The objective is to show available status information clearly when Platform functions and responsible parties supply it, without promising real-time updates, uninterrupted access or a complete record of external activity.
  • Proposal presentation: Any proposals received should be presented in a way that supports careful review, while their number, format, completeness, comparability, price and timing remain outside any guarantee by IONA JETS.
  • Document context: Platform records may help organize information made available through the request, but contracts, provider confirmations and official documents remain authoritative and must be reviewed in their applicable versions.

Tools intended for responsible collaboration

Charter decisions may involve Clients, assistants, travel teams, advisers or other authorized stakeholders. IONA JETS' design direction is to support purposeful participation where account functions permit it, rather than unlimited collaboration or universal access. Any sharing should follow the Client's own authority, confidentiality, privacy, governance and record-keeping requirements. Platform permissions cannot replace internal approvals, professional advice or provider controls. Features, access levels and availability may change, so teams should establish communication and approval arrangements appropriate to the request instead of depending on a single digital workspace.

  • Purposeful participation: Access should be limited to people with a defined role in the request, subject to available account functions and the Client's responsibility for invitations, permissions and internal authorization.
  • Clear decision ownership: The Platform aims to make responsibilities easier to understand, but the Client retains its approval process and each contractual or regulated party remains accountable for its own decisions.
  • Proportionate information sharing: Teams should disclose only information needed for the task and verify recipients, channels and permissions, because no collaboration feature can guarantee confidentiality, security or error-free distribution of data.

Development guided by role clarity and evidence

Long-term development is guided by role clarity, practical Client needs and evidence that supports responsible use. The roadmap focuses on clearer request preparation, more structured proposal review, and account tools that help clients and professional teams organize charter activity. Priority goes to the steps where structure saves the most time: preparing a complete request, comparing proposals on the same basis, and keeping each exchange connected to its mission. New functions and markets are assessed against their practical value, technical feasibility and fit with the referral model.

  • Independent professional judgment: The Platform's direction is to connect Clients with the Broker Partner network while preserving each participating firm's independent decision to respond, assess requirements and prepare its own proposal.
  • Defined regulatory roles: The vision supports clear safety and compliance responsibilities and does not position IONA JETS as an operator, regulator, auditor or direct verifier of aircraft, crews, flights or providers.
  • Evidence before promotion: Development and communication should favor measured, supportable information, including on sustainability, and avoid treating aspirations, estimates, certifications or third-party statements as directly verified results of IONA JETS.

Frequently asked questions about the IONA JETS vision

These answers clearly explain what the IONA JETS vision is intended to guide, what it does not promise and how responsibility remains divided between the Platform, independent Broker Partners, operators, providers and Clients. They describe direction and principles rather than guaranteed functions, coverage or outcomes.

The vision is intended to make the first stage of an air charter inquiry easier to understand. A Client can describe a private aviation, group charter or air cargo requirement through the Platform, and participating vetted Broker Partners independently decide whether to assess it. The objective is clearer request information and more understandable roles, not to replace professional assessment or guarantee a response. Availability, suitability, pricing, contracting and flight performance remain matters for the responding Broker Partner, proposed operator and other responsible providers.

No. IONA JETS does not claim access to every broker, operator, aircraft, route, provider or jurisdiction. A request may be transmitted to participating vetted Broker Partners, but each independently decides whether to respond and which operators or providers to consult. Network participation, market coverage, aircraft access and proposal availability can change and depend on the particular request. Clients should assess any proposal actually received and confirm the named parties, aircraft, scope and terms rather than infer comprehensive market access from the Platform.

No. The design direction favors clear presentation of information that is available through the Platform, but it does not promise continuous tracking, instant updates, automatic synchronization or a complete record of activity outside the Platform. Status information and documents may depend on user actions, Broker Partner updates, provider confirmations and technical availability. Clients should maintain appropriate communication with the selected Broker Partner and rely on the current contractual and operational documentation for decisive flight or service information.

No. IONA JETS currently acts solely as a Swiss digital referral platform and the vision described here does not assign it brokerage, carrier, operational, regulatory, audit or certification functions. It is not a commitment about every future business decision or legal status. Any material change would have to comply with applicable law, obtain any required authorization and be reflected in formal documentation and updated terms. Clients should therefore understand the role from the documents in force when they use the Platform.

IONA JETS acts solely as a Swiss digital referral platform connecting clients with independent air charter Broker Partners across private aviation, group charter and air cargo. IONA JETS is not an air charter broker, air carrier, airline or aircraft operator and does not own, lease, operate, schedule, dispatch, control or perform flights. Participating vetted Broker Partners independently decide whether to assess a request and prepare a proposal. Their participation and the receipt, number, timing, content or terms of proposals are not guaranteed. If a client selects a proposal, operator sourcing, the checks the selected Broker Partner applies to the proposed operator, the applicable contract and payment arrangements and the coordination of the confirmed flight and agreed third-party services with the responsible providers all fall within that broker's own responsibility and procedures. IONA JETS neither performs nor supervises those checks. Each confirmed flight is performed exclusively by the aircraft operator identified in the contractual documentation, under its own operating certificate, approvals, operational control, terms and insurance. IONA JETS reviews Broker Partners before network admission but does not directly certify, approve, select or verify every aircraft operator or downstream provider. Each Broker Partner, operator, authority and provider remains responsible for its own services, decisions, authorizations, insurance, personnel, equipment, contractual obligations and regulatory compliance. Information on this page is general and may change. It does not constitute a quote, booking confirmation, operational assessment or legal, regulatory, safety, environmental, tax or other professional advice. No aircraft, operator, service, response, proposal, price, saving, availability, schedule, performance, result or other outcome is promised or guaranteed. Clients must review the named contractual parties, scope, price, taxes, payment terms, change and cancellation conditions and supporting documents before acceptance. IONA JETS is not a party to the flight or third-party service contract unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. IONA JETS does not charge clients a platform fee for submitting a request, reviewing available proposals or selecting an option through the standard referral service. IONA JETS Business is a separate optional paid subscription. IONA JETS receives remuneration from a Broker Partner when a referred request results in a confirmed booking. Statements on this page describe IONA JETS' current objectives, design direction and general principles only. They are not representations that any roadmap item, function, integration, geographic coverage, market access, workflow, status display, comparison tool, collaboration feature or other capability exists, will be released, will remain available or will operate continuously. The Platform does not provide access to the entire air charter market and cannot guarantee that any request reaches a particular Broker Partner, operator, provider, aircraft or jurisdiction. No complete visibility, real-time tracking, automatic synchronization, unlimited user access, role-based permission, audit trail, document completeness or like-for-like proposal comparison is promised. Features, interfaces, eligibility and availability may change. Vision statements do not create service levels, deadlines, warranties, fiduciary duties or contractual commitments. They do not assign IONA JETS any future role as a broker, operator, carrier, regulator, authority, auditor, safety assessor or certifier. Any future change to IONA JETS' business or regulated status would be subject to applicable law, required authorizations, formal documentation and updated terms. Clients must base decisions on the functionality actually available and the written documents applicable at the relevant time. *Cashback is available only on eligible bookings and remains subject to the applicable Loyalty Program terms.
